Talking about some CD. I don't hear a thing. It's not that I don't care. I'm just overly aware of the way your side pushes into mine. When you lean over to talk, I want to chew my fingers off.
You're on my lawn. Forgot to put my coat on. I don't mind, but I still run inside. Then I turn to mush. I know I care way too much. When I'm alone with my thoughts, I want to scream my head off.
I saw you once. I really only you once. I saw you once, then I saw you twice. I really saw you twice. How about three times?
I had the great pleasure of seeing Nice Try live at the Blockhouse Bar in Bloomington on the same bill as Colleen Green and Potty Mouth. I loved their set so much and my appreciation for these tunes just gets deeper with every listen. Madeline is such a gifted crafter of songs—melodies, harmonies, and lyrics. szajewski_michael
